Three Faculty of Arts subjects ranked in top 100
The QS 2021 Subject Rankings have rated Macquarie’s Philosophy, Ancient History and Education subjects in the top 100 in the world, with a total of eight Faculty of Arts subjects ranking in the top eight in Australia.
Philosophy ranked 23rd in the world and placed second nationally, and is the best ranked discipline in the University.
Ancient History ranked first in Australia and 51-70th in the world, while Education is ranked 8th in Australia and 78th in the world.
The eight Faculty of Arts subjects which now rank in the top eight in Australia, include Archaeology, Ancient History, Education, English Language and Literature, Geography, History, Modern Languages and Philosophy.
