A conference dedicated to high-quality research in all areas of economics and finance related to commodity markets, with an emphasis on – but not limited to – the Australasian aspects of commodity markets and energy risk.

Venue

Macquarie University City Campus, 123 Pitt Street (Angel Place), Sydney, Australia

The Macquarie University City Campus is located in the heart of Sydney CBD. Early November is generally warm, clear and sunny and it’s great for visiting Sydney’s famous beaches.

Conference participation fees:
  • Academic rate: A$300 (Full Conference)
  • Industry rate: A$340 (Full Conference), A$200 (One-Day Registration)
  • Full-time PhD Students: $A150

Full registration includes catering during the event, plus a conference dinner on Thursday, November 21 at 6pm.

The conference is jointly organised by Macquarie University’s Transforming Energy Markets Research Centre and the Centre for Risk Analytics and will be held in conjunction with the following journals

The deadline for submissions is COB Friday January 3, 2025. Papers must be in pdf format.

Notification of acceptance: Will be sent no later than January 10, 2025.
