Rachel Perkins: From the Heart and the Soul
On the 5th anniversary of the Uluru Statement, we celebrated an unprecedented coalition of faith-based organisations calling for bipartisan action to hold a referendum on a First Nations constitutional voice.
These peak religious organisations released a Joint Resolution declaring their support for the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

This event was live-streamed from amongst the contemporary artworks of the 23rd Biennale of Sydney, titled rīvus.
This was the inaugural event of the Radical Centre Reform Lab at Macquarie Law School, established with generous support from Foundation Donors, Henry and Marcia Pinskier.
The event was supported by the Biennale of Sydney in partnership with Cape York Institute and Uphold & Recognise.
*Due to a family bereavement, Noel Pearson was unable to give the oration. Indigenous filmmaker Rachel Perkins gave the keynote and Wangkumarra/Barkindji man Sean Gordon was the master of ceremonies.
