Trinity College at the University of Melbourne hosted a panel discussion with some of the authors and editors: The Most Reverend Peter A. Comensoli, Fiona Jose, Bhikkhu Sujato and Shireen Morris.
They explored their views on why the referendum on Indigenous constitutional recognition through an Indigenous Voice boils down to moral questions, about who we are as a country and whether Indigenous communities deserve to be heard in laws and policies that affect them.

The Executive Council of Australian Jewry and The Great Synagogue hosted this book launch event, with speeches delivered by The Honourable T.F. Bathurst AC KC FRSN, Former Chief Justice of New South Wales, Dr Shireen Morris, and Damien Freeman.
They explored their views on why the referendum on Indigenous constitutional recognition through an Indigenous Voice boils down to moral questions, about who we are as a country and whether Indigenous communities deserve to be heard in laws and policies that affect them.

In this oration, Dr Morris makes the case for radical centre economic reform, sharing her thinking about the radical centre as it relates to the challenge of unemployment. Dr Morris asks: Why must a cohort of Australians be kept unemployed to manage inflation? Why must the RBA independently manage this balance? And how can Australians work across tribal divides to fight inequality?

This was the inaugural event of the Radical Centre Reform Lab at Macquarie Law School, established with generous support from Foundation Donors, Henry and Marcia Pinskier.
The event was supported by the Biennale of Sydney in partnership with Cape York Institute and Uphold & Recognise.
*Due to a family bereavement, Noel Pearson was unable to give the oration. Indigenous filmmaker Rachel Perkins gave the keynote and Wangkumarra/Barkindji man Sean Gordon was the master of ceremonies.
