Building an ecosystem to promote corporate respect for human rights

The B&HR Access to Justice Lab (A2J Lab) at Macquarie University promotes corporate respect for human rights in Australia, Asia and the Pacific. We do so by building a corporate ecosystem that facilitates respect for human rights and access to justice for human rights abuses.

We conduct research, develop practical tools, build capacity of various stakeholders, and assist affected individuals and communities in seeking access to justice for corporate human rights abuses.

The A2J Lab works with a range of stakeholders such as academics, communities, businesses, trade unions, civil society organisations, lawyers, foundations, governments and UN agencies.

We also offer selected law students an opportunity to collaborate with leading experts, external partners and community organisations to promote corporate respect for human rights.
