Thursday. — I had the honor of dining this day with Mr. Greenwood at his Elegant House in Audley Square, in Company with H. R. Highness The Duke of York, the Earl of Harrington, Lieut. Genl. Sir James Hy. Craig K.B. (now Colonel of the 86th. Regt.), and a great number of other military men of Rank and distinction. —
Novr. 5.
Monday. — The London & Westminster Light Horse Volunteers having been this forenoon Reviewed by the Earl of Harrington, His Lordship & Staff dined afterwards with their Commandant Colonel Herries and the other officers of the Corps at the London Tavern - where they gave us a most elegant Entertainment. —
Novr. 8.
Thursday. — I dined this day with Mr. and Mrs. Anderdon at their House in Spring Gardens. —
Novr. 9.
Friday. — I dined at the Lord Mayor's annual Festival Dinner. —
Novr. 10.
Saturday. — I dined at Lord Harrington's.
Novr. 11.
Sunday. — I dined with Mr. Jno. Forbes at his House in Fitzroy Square, having only returned from Scotland a few days since.
Novr. 12.
Monday. — I dined with the Staff Club which was held this day at Willis's.
Novr. 13.
Tuesday. — I dined at Lord Harrington's. —
Novr. 14.
Thursday. [sic] — I dined with Mr. & Mrs. Booth. —
Novr. 16.
Friday. — I dined at Lord Harrington's.
Novr. 17.
Saturday. — I dined this day with Mr. and Mrs. Macdonald at their House at the Grove in Brompton, with a large Party.
Novr. 18.
Sunday. — I dined with my friends the two Miss Stewarts in Albermarle Street.
Novr. 19.
Monday. — I dined with Mr. & Mrs. Booth. —
Novr. 20.
Tuesday. — I dined with Mr. Loughnan.
Novr. 21.
Wednesday. — I had the honor of dining this day with H. R. Highness The Duke of Clarence at his own House in Stable Yard, in Company with his Royal Brothers the Dukes of Sussex & Cambridge; the Earl of Harrington, Lord Petersham, Lord Chas. Somerset &c. &c. — His Royal Highness gave us a most elegant and grand Entertainment - and kept us till a late Hour in circulating the bottle. —
Novr. 22.
Thursday. — The Earl of Harrington having this day Reviewed the 2d. Regt. of Royal Tower Hamlets Militia commanded by Colonel Smith, in presence of H.R. Highness the Duke of Clarence; the Officers of the Regt. gave afterwards a grand Dinner at the London Tavern to the Duke of Clarence and the Earl of Harrington and his staff. —

Friday. — I dined with my old Bombay friend Mr. De Ponthieu in Portland Place.
Novr. 25.
Sunday. — I dined with Mr.& Mrs. Farquhar at their House in Portland Place. —
Novr. 28.
Wednesday. — I dined with Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Novr. 29.
Thursday. — I dined with Mr. & Mrs. P. Dundas.
Novr. 30.
Friday. — I dined this day also at Mr. Dundas's.
