The Bottany Bay Ship Sailed for England; I wrote of date 8th. Inst. by her, to my
Broyr. Chas.; and sent Duplicate of a letter to
Messrs. Cox & Greenwood.
Septr. 26.
This day sailed for England an American Ship, on which went Passenger
Captain Gray, and Lt. Archd. Campbell (now Laird of Melford in Argyleshire) of
the 77th. Regiment. — I wrote letters (as
Per List) by Lt. Campbell to a number of my
friends at home. —
