Tuesday 2. July 1822. Early this morning we were boarded by Mr. Henry Griggs one of the Branch Pilots Stationed at Dover for Piloting Ships and Vessels from the Channel to Gravesend in the River Thames. He accordingly took the entire charge of the Ship. We passed Dover at Noon -- then Deal, Hythe, Ramsgate Margate&c. &c. &c.
