Rare papyri are publicly available for the first time thanks to a collaboration between Macquarie University History Museum and the J. Paul Getty Museum this month.

In March 2016, our Director discovered a collection of rare papyri manuscripts in the archives of the J. Paul Getty Museum. These papyri turned out to be the largest collection of Book of the Dead manuscripts in the western part of the United States of America.
