Programs and accreditation
Graduates of the Department of Health Professions have advanced clinical skills as well as knowledge in business, management and leadership issues and are ready to launch a fulfilling career as a physiotherapist across a broad range of health care settings.
The department has a relatively new program but has already made a big impact on the market. We’re known for preparing graduates for both public and private health sectors, and many of our graduates go into employment shortly after completion of study. By studying with us, you have the added assurance of accreditation with major professional bodies.
The Doctor of Physiotherapy program is accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Council and is an approved program by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (search for programs by Macquarie University at Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
