Competition terms and conditions
1. Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotions for this competition form part of the conditions of entry. By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions of this competition are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales.
2. The competition is being run by Macquarie University (Marketing Unit), Research Park Drive, Macquarie University, 2109 (“Macquarie”). The This Week at Macquarie University competition (“the competition”) commences at 3pm, Monday 30 November 2014 AEDT and closes at 5pm Friday 11 December 2015 AEDT.
3. To enter the competition, you must complete the This Week at Macquarie University survey, be a current Macquarie University member of staff and provide your Macquarie University email address. By entering the competition you agree that you are a current Macquarie University member of staff.
4. Entrants may submit a maximum of one entry. Macquarie reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who submits more than one entry. Macquarie University students are not eligible to enter this competition. To be eligible for a prize your entry must only include material created by you or material which you have permission to use. By submitting your entry to Macquarie, you grant Macquarie and its licensees and assignees a non-exclusive licence to exercise all rights in your entry including without limitation the right to reproduce and communicate your entry to the public in whole or in part and in any media. You agree that your entry may be edited or adapted at any time by Macquarie for legal, editorial or operational reasons.
5. A panel of up to three (3) judges shall be appointed by the Director, Communications, Macquarie University. The panel shall decide, in its sole discretion, the winners, based on their answer to the question ‘How do you think we could improve This Week?:’. The Panel’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Four winners will receive a lunch voucher to be redeemed at the Staff Cafe.
7. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or an alternative prize. Prizes are not transferrable. Names of the winners in the competition may be published through Macquarie University publications and you agree to the publication of your name in those publications for this purpose.
8. Prize winners will be notified by email by 5pm Friday 18 December 2015 AEDT. Prize winners must provide photographic identification to collect and take receipt of their prize. Prize winners are required to abide by any third party terms and conditions relevant to the prize, as presented.
9. Macquarie accepts no responsibility and shall not be held legally liable or responsible for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property whether direct or indirect, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the competition or accepting or using the prize, either during or after the competition.
10. Macquarie collects your personal information in order to conduct the competition. Any and all personal information, including email addresses, collected at this web site will be kept strictly confidential.
