Saturday 12 September is Open Day, the University’s largest marketing and recruitment event of the year. It is our opportunity to showcase all Macquarie has to offer, and influence and encourage prospective students to choose our University as their first preference.

Aside from academic and professional advising, there are many activities where staff can lend a hand including event and venue supervision, catering support, or assisting with casual student supervision.

Open Day offers our next student generation a taste of academic life through mini lectures and hands-on learning activities. Prospective students also experience campus life at Macquarie through sporting activities and campus tours, and discover the many career and wellbeing support services we offer.

How to get involved
For those who would like to get involved, please seek permission from your manager first to discuss time in lieu or overtime arrangements, then let Anne Bowers (anne.bowers@mq.edu.au) from the Future Students team know of your intention to participate by 14 August.
