On Wednesday 29 July from 11.45am-2.00pm, staff, students and sports scholars will join together for the sixth annual Courtyard Challenge event.
A tradition at Macquarie since 2009, the Courtyard Challenge is now a vibrant annual event that promotes diversity, social inclusion, engagement, health and fitness. Participants complete a series of races across various categories including Colleges, Sports Clubs, Warriors@Work and Sports Scholar. An awards ceremony and BBQ immediately follow the event.
“The Courtyard Challenge is based on the historic Great Court Run held at Trinity College in the UK each year,” said Cindy Hoad, General Manager, Sport and Recreation. “Everyone on campus can get involved, whether that’s participating as an individual or team or cheering participants on from the sidelines.”
Registration is free and open until the morning of the event.
