Last week, staff from all corners of the campus gathered to share in discussion at the Learning and Teaching Green Paper town hall, and provide feedback to inform and develop our Learning and Teaching Framework.
“The Town Hall meeting was a very engaging event which provided some great feedback. Following both that event, and the wide range of consultation meetings, the reference group is keen to progress the conversation via this addendum” said Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) Professor Sherman Young.
Professor Young explains substantial feedback has also been received online and is in the process of a thorough review.
“The reference group feels it is important to address the significant amount of discussion generated through the consultation meetings to date, and provide an update on how that feedback is being considered as part of the white paper development,” he said.
A short addendum is now available outlining a few key items which received comments and presents a brief response from the reference group.

Staff can provide feedback in a number of ways:

- Email pvclt@mq.edu.au
- Provide feedback to Associate Deans Learning and Teaching in your faculty, or Directors in your office.
Feedback closes Tuesday 30 June.

Two of the highest talked about topics in feedback to the Green Paper are employability and People and Planet units. As screened at the town hall, hear what our students have to say about the importance of employability after gaining a Macquarie degree, and the importance of People and Planet units to their studies.
