Gather your colleagues, plan your costumes and prepare for the ultimate challenge – can you win the 2015 Macquarie University Amazing Race?

Registrations are now open and staff are welcome (and encouraged) to get involved!

“It was a real blast!” said Margaret Chidgey, who got together with three of her colleagues from the Marketing Unit and competed as a staff team in 2014. “I really hope we can get a team together again this year!”

The race involves a series of challenges and problems to be solved, as teams race against the clock (as well as fellow staff and students) to be crowned the Amazing Race champion for 2015.

“It was a great way to get to know the campus a bit better, as well as bond with colleagues, and make new friends… or enemies!” said Brian Seeto, who took up the challenge alongside Margaret last year.

Staff can enter in teams of four, or register as an individual and be teamed with other entrants. Giveaways and prizes will be awarded for the fastest team, the team with the most points and the most creative team costume. A free barbeque will conclude the event.
