Culminating in the inaugural University Annual Conference, 2014 has been a year of progress and momentum toward our strategic priorities.
“These initiatives are making real improvements to the day-to-day work of our academic and professional staff,” said Director of Strategic Planning, Associate Professor James Rabeau. “They demonstrate how the University is coming together across professional and academic areas of expertise to achieve these goals, giving us a glimpse of what our future looks like when we work together.”
Ten of the 28 Our University: A Framing of Futures implementation initiatives are now complete, including:
- The completion and launch of the ‘World-Leading Research World-Changing Impact’ Strategic Research Framework: 2015-2024
- The launch of our new Shared Identity
- Implementation of the business process improvement initiative ‘Lean’ and completion of 5 Rapid Improvement Events
New initiatives like ‘Student Engagement for Success’ have also been endorsed, and the work of implementing them has begun.
