Jubilee Time Capsule ceremony
To celebrate our Jubilee year, a time capsule providing insights into life at Macquarie in 2014 will be buried at the Foundation Stone in the Central courtyard at 12.30pm, to be unearthed at our centenary in 2064.

For the kids
Learn how to write your name in Egyptian hieroglyphs; take a camel ride, ride a Segway, the trackless train or even a pony; play a giant game of Jenga or Connect Four, or join fun science activities throughout the day.

Road Closures
The following road closures will be in place on the day with access for authorised vehicles only:
- Eastern Road closure: 9.30am to 4pm
- Science Road closure: 9.30am to 4pm
- Central Avenue closure: 7am to 5pm
- University Avenue: open with one lane (one way) access only.
