Session 2 starts today with MacFest, the ‘mini O-Week’ that welcomes new students to campus and gives returning students a chance to reconnect with academic and co-curricular activities.
“Macfest is a great opportunity to engage with student societies, sporting clubs and academic study groups,” says Deputy Registrar Jonathan Wylie in his Session 2 student welcome.
Staff can also get involved in this week-long event with plenty of live entertainment, food, and the Courtyard Challenge on Thursday 7 August.
Now in its sixth year, the Courtyard Challenge brings staff and students together for a friendly competition while raising awareness of health and fitness on campus. Join in or cheer on those that have pulled on their running shoes, and enjoy the spectator barbecue before the racing begins.
Entries are still open but close tomorrow (Tuesday 5 August), so enter now as an individual or team.
