Stepping up in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease

In recognition of the Global Day of ALS/MND on 21 June, Macquarie’s Motor Neurone Disease team are busy on a number of initiatives to ramp up their fight against the cruel disease. Working with Macquarie University Hospital and the University’s Medical Philanthropy team, Professor Dominic Rowe is hosting a special fundraising event at The Ivy on Friday 20 June, the eve of Global MND/ALS Day .

With live and silent auctions, prizes and raffles, MC Steve Willis (aka the Commando) and exclusive entertainment by Stan Walker, all proceeds from the cocktail evening will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Service at Macquarie University, and all Macquarie staff are invited to attend. RSVP here.

The team have also recently worked alongside the Deb Bailey Foundation, in a fundraiser co-hosted by PWC.
