Macquarie Graduate School of Management’s (MGSM) operations team has had great success at the Annual Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) Industry Awards.
The school’s Macquarie Park Conference Centre won the National Award for Best Meeting Venue under 500 delegates while the CBD Conference Centre was a NSW finalist in the category for Best Speciality Meeting Venue.
Peter Stewart, MGSM’s Director of Operations said: “I am very proud of the team at MGSM and the way they deliver a fantastic overall meeting experience to our internal and external customers. These wonderful accolades are great recognition of a great team.”
The MEA Industry Awards recognise excellence and best business practice in the Meetings and Events Industry, and are judged by a panel of industry and independent judges. The success of both the Macquarie Park and CBD Conference Centres signifies national recognition for the MGSM team and reinforces MGSM’s commitment to experienced and professional meetings and events management.
This is the second consecutive National Award for MGSM’s Executive Conference Centre at Macquarie Park, capping off a highly successful year after MGSM’s 2013 win in the same category. MGSM’s CBD campus achieved recognition as a finalist in just their first year in the awards.
