The Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural Studies welcomes international guest speaker Richard Liu, MSNBC and NBC anchorto Macquarie this Friday. At a special event at 11am this Friday, Richard will be in conversation with Dr Margie Borschke, convenor of the Master in Future Journalism program.

Richard Liu has had 15 years in business, holding titles in international marketing and sales, chief marketing officer, and worked at DDB Needham Advertising. He holds an MBA from Ross Business School and was recently listed as one of 21 extremely successful individuals alongside the likes of Warren Buffett. Richard has both covered and been involved in social media campaigns, including covering the US Presidential election campaigns and participating in the campaigns of non-profit organisations. He is a respected as a columnist in the US, writing for several respected national and regional publications and has anchored for CNN International, NBC News, Channel NewsAsia, and MSNBC.
