From Session 2, Unit Convenors will use iTeach to publish their Unit Guides and activate their iLearn spaces. In response to feedback from staff, the new combined system will offer:
- an easier to use, streamlined user interface
- fewer steps in the Unit Guide publishing process
- a mobile-friendly Unit Guide site for students and the public
- time savings for Department staff
Further improvements are planned for the system this year, with the aim of making it easier for staff to manage their units.
What do unit convenors need to do?
Nothing at the moment. Support for using the system will be available to all staff, and more details will be available soon. Look out for further announcements from the iLearn team and your Faculty.
Maintenance Friday 30 May, Wednesday 4 June
In order to prepare for the upgrade, units will be unavailable for staff Friday 30 May from 12 to 5.00 pm and Wednesday 4 June from 12 to 5.00 pm. Unit guides will still be available for students and staff to view but staff will not be able to log in to edit or update their unit guides during these times.
