Macquarie will be joining with the rest of the nation and hosting a Biggest Morning Tea on campus on Thursday 22 May. This is a national event to help raise funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention programs, and support services.
Everyone is welcome in the Graduation Marquee (outside the Atrium) for tea, coffee and cupcakes – all for a gold coin donation.
You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from John Boyages, Director and Professor of Breast Oncology at the Macquarie University Cancer Institute. He was the founding director of the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute and has published more than 135 research and clinical articles and is committed to the dissemination of research findings to lay and professional audiences.
If you are part of a team who have already organised a morning tea, you’re welcome to combine your event with ours too.
If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact Philippa Borland on ext 1881.
