Looking for help with your finances?

There are a number of resources available to help you manage your money whilst studying.

Remember when you’re considering how much university is going to cost there is more to add to the budget than just course fees and general living expenses.

Domestic students

Financial information if you are a domestic student with:

• a Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
• a Domestic fee-paying place (DFP)
• a need to defer your Student Services and Amenities Fee
• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage

Inbound and outbound students

Financial assistance if you are:

• a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident
• an international student
• studying overseas

Other Government assistance

The Government offers many different support payments and allowances:

• Austudy
• ABSTUDY
• Youth Allowance
• Disability Support Pension
• Fares Allowance
