If you are successful at the interview, you’ll receive a conditional offer in early December, pending your final selection rank.

Application process

Submit your application to Macquarie University
  1. Register online in our application system.
  2. Before the application close date, submit your:

You must also apply to University Admissions Centre (UAC) to be considered for the interview stage.

Before the Co-op Program's application closing date, submit your application via UAC and select the appropriate course below as your highest eligible preference.

Attending the interview

If successful in your application to Macquarie University, you’ll be asked to attend a panel interview.

Co-op students are selected on academic merit and assessment of their interests, qualities and skills. The selection panel will likely include representatives from the Co-op team, academics and representatives from industry.

The panel will be looking for evidence that:

  • you show a genuine interest and motivation to enter the accounting, actuarial or business analytics profession
  • you are active in school and/or community activities
  • you demonstrate exceptional communication, teamwork, problem-solving, innovation, service and leadership skills.
Checking your offer advice conditions

If you are successful at the panel interview, you’ll receive a conditional early offer in early December.

You’ll need to satisfy the condition/s as stated in your early offer advice from Macquarie University. Deferrals are not possible. If you decide to take a gap year, you will need to reapply.
