The full program of activities and events in 2012 focuses on quality research outputs, building IGAPs profile and extending collaboration with business, government, academia and the profession.

International Visitors

Four international visitors have been hosted in the first half of the year. The visitors participated in research seminars, individual staff and PhD research meetings, staff forums and other interactions with key external stakeholders (e.g. podcasts, public lectures and roundtables).

Executives in Residence Program

Stephen Helberg participated as IGAP's 2012 Executive in Residence from 22 - 24 August 2012. Stephen recently resigned as the Head of Corporate Assurance at Rio Tinto Ltd and is the incoming Executive General Manager of Internal Audit at the Leightons Group.

Executive Education

An Executive Education course on Corporate Accountability and Governance for Legacy Australia was held on 17 April 2012 at Commonwealth Bank Head Office.
