Biography

Sara is a Cotutelle PhD candidate at the Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE), joint with Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS).

She received her master’s degree in Health Economics from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2016, with her thesis focusing on economic burden of cardiovascular diseases. In the national university entrance exam for PhD study in Health Economics in 2016, she was ranked the first. Her PhD is focused on economic analysis of factors affecting the risk of type2 diabetes.
