Description | The lived experience of hearing loss is influenced by cultural, social, economic, and political factors and its effects extend beyond the individual and affects families and society. In this webinar, we explored the effect of hearing loss on the individual, how consumer organisations support individuals with hearing loss, and the effect of looking through multiple lenses to understand ways in which we can broadly address hearing health – foregrounding the importance of balancing social and health perspectives.
