Implementation Science Interest Group
The Implementation Science Interest Group (ISIG) is a free interactive group held online on the last Monday of the month. To join the group, contact the committee through isig.committee@mq.edu.au.
Overview
The Implementation Science Interest Group (ISIG) is a free interactive group held on the last Monday of the month. The monthly meetings are held via ZOOM ensuring equitable access for all irrespective of where one is based. ISIG provides an inclusive forum for connecting with other people working or interested in implementation science.
ISIG is open to anyone (researchers, clinicians, managers, students etc.) with an interest in implementation science and practice. We have people from all around Australia attending this group, from within and beyond academia. We hope this group creates opportunities for research collaborations.
Group format:
The ISIG includes individual presentations from invited speakers, journal-club style discussion of key articles, interactive discussions on specific topics, opportunities to practice conference presentations and workshops, and encourages open discussions about any aspect of implementation science theory, practice, or research. ISIG is open to suggestions for speakers and activities from its membership.
Most presentations will be recorded and made available on the AIHI YouTube channel.

Background
The Implementation Science Interest Group (ISIG) was formed by four members of the Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI), Implementation Science stream in September 2019 to bring people with an interest in implementation science and practice together from across Australia, to develop skills and share knowledge and understanding in an open and friendly forum.
Aims
The aims of ISIG are to:
To connect people and encourage collaboration across teams in AIHI and with organisations outside of AIHI.
To enhance the sharing of knowledge and skills across a diverse group of people interested in implementation science and practice.
To provide a forum for discussion and collegial support to anyone working in implementation science and practice regardless of their level of experience.
