Abstract
In this seminar I will describe my working life and offer some perspectives about how the hospital works, doctors and other healthcare workers and patients. My hope is that this will be valuable to you all so that you can understand how your work might contribute to health outcomes and so that you can better interface with the healthcare system to achieve the outcomes you are seeking.
If time permits I will also offer my perspective on some key health policy issues.
