CHRIS welcomes Associate Professor Rebecca Mitchell

Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite, Director Centre for Health Resilience and Implementation Science (CHRIS) is pleased to welcome A/Professor Rebecca Mitchell to the Centre and AIHI. Rebecca will be commencing from Monday 2 Feb in the role of Associate Professor and Stream Leader for Patient Safety research.

Rebecca is a psychologist and injury epidemiologist. She previously worked with the Faculty of Science, UNSW, where she was leading research into adult trauma , matching cohort study design to quantify health care pre-and post-injury. In 2014, Rebecca was a recipient of the Alan Welford Award for the best peer-review paper published on human factors from the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia. She has also recently joined the Editorial Board of Injury Control and Safety Promotion.
