AIHI staff win 2016 IMIA Working Group of the Year for third time

Congratulations to Professor Andrew Georgiou and Associate Professor Farah Magrabi for winning the Internalional Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) 2016 Working Group of the Year Award. This is the third time that the Working Group have received this award and in line with the guidelines, the Working Group will now go on the “Honor Roll”.

Georgiou and Magrabi co-chaired IMIA’s Technology Assessment and Quality Development in Health Informatics Working Group. The award was announced at the 2016 IMIA General Assembly in Munich, Germany in conjunction with MIE2016 on 28 August.

The IMIA Working Group of the Year Award recognises and rewards the efforts and achievements of Working Groups in support of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA’s) mission.
