On the day
In addition to sturdy footwear for running or walking, for this special parkrun event, help us celebrate good mental health across the lifespan by coming in fancy dress or adding a touch of flare to your usual running attire. Don’t forget to slip, slop, slap (put on suncream, wear a hat and slip on a shirt or costume).
Please arrive early so that you can participate in some colourful activities including: face painting, coloured hair spray station, and purchase a fun dress up item to add to your run. All proceeds will go to support mental health research and service delivery at the Macquarie University Lifespan Health and Wellbeing Research Centre.
The briefing for new participants is at 7.30am. We encourage participants to arrive with plenty of time to spare (for parking or walking to the gathering point) and so you can engage in our mental health activities. The event will start right on 8am.
The gathering point is outside 18 Wally’s Walk – about 400 metre from the West 5 car park.
Free parking is provided to participants in the West 5 car park, on Gymnasium Road, off Culloden Road.
