We offer a wide range of options for collaboration

There are many ways you can engage with the Lifespan Health and Wellbeing research centre. Find out more about the options for interacting with us.

We’re always looking to recruit participants for our research. Please register your details in both the databases below to be kept in the loop for future opportunities.

Participate in our research

This database is for older adults interested in participating in research projects run through the Lifespan Health and Wellbeing Research Centre.

The projects tend to focus on understanding mental health and wellbeing in older adults.

Researchers and students use the database to:

  • send participants information about their project
  • ask people if they are interested in being involved.

Participants can accept or decline any invitations and can be removed from the database at any time.

Research tasks:

  • typically involve completing questionnaires via mail, over the telephone or online
  • sometimes involve attending research sessions in-person at the North Ryde campus.

You are, of course, not required to participate in studies that are not convenient or of interest to you.

To join the database or receive more information:

Would you like to help find answers about important questions about the brain? Do you think it is important to improve our understanding and treatment of cognitive disorders?

This register is a database of everyday people like you, aged 60 years and over. By signing up to the register you will be able to keep up to date with studies we are recruiting participants for.
