Consilience Project Challenge

Winning project chosen

We are excited to announce the outcome of the Future Communications Consilience Project Challenge Award.

Congratulations to the project 5G Connectivity from Space, led by Dr Yan Li from the School of Computing.

The project:

• has been approved for $6000 funding
• aims to develop a new software platform to support 5G NB-IoT protocol over LEO communications satellites, promising to deliver universal IoT connectivity.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr Yan Li and her team, and look forward to some exciting outcomes from this project.
