Dr Yin Liao is an Associate Professor in Finance and Research Director at Department of Applied Finance. She joined Macquarie University from July, 2019. Prior to that, she held positions at the Australian National University and Queensland University of Technology.
Dr Zheyao (Terry) Pan joined Department of Applied Finance at Macquarie University from December, 2017. Prior to that, he was a Lecturer at the University of Otago.
Dr Shuping Shi is a Professor at Macquarie University. Shi is an econometrician with a theoretically grounded and policy-relevant research agenda in the field of Financial Econometrics and Applied Economics.
Abhay Singh, an Associate Professor in applied finance and Director of the Centre for Corporate Sustainability & Environmental Finance, specializes in Financial Risk Modeling, Investment Analysis, and Asset Pricing.
Leonie is Deputy Dean Research and Innovation of the Macquarie Business School and Professor in Actuarial Studies. Her research in longevity modelling and forecasting is at the forefront of new developments in the area.
Dr Colin Zhang holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies), a Bachelor of Commerce (First class Honours in Actuarial studies) as well as a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Applied Finance and Actuarial Studies) from Macquarie University.
Carolyn is a senior lecturer in the area of public law, with a focus on human rights and open government. She regularly provides expert advice on privacy and the handling of personal information to government and non-government organisations.
Malcolm is a professor of History and Head of the Department of History and Archaeology. His current research interests centre on discourses of authenticity, debates over cultural heritage, and the reception of the ancient world.
Jessica does research on how humans, more-than-humans, environments and technologies interact to produce geographies of change. Her research focuses on digital technologies, water politics, climate action and activism.
Richard is a developer of artificial intelligence and robotics, using music and creativity as a medium to program better interactions, understandings and models.

Rachel Yuen-Collingridge is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of History and Archaeology. She researches and teaches across the ancient and the modern world.
Professor Bamini Gopinath is the inaugural Cochlear Chair in Hearing and Health. In this role she leads the Public Health and Policy Pillar of MU Hearing.
Dr Liu is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Informatics, Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI), Macquarie University. He established and is currently leading the Translational AI for Healthcare Research Stream at AIHI.

Professor Helen Rizos is a cancer cell and molecular biologist with a focus on cancer cell signalling, response and resistance of melanoma to targeted and immunotherapies and predictive liquid biopsy markers.
Kelly also leads the Genomics & Bioinformatics Research Group within the Motor Neuron Disease research centre.
Rouzbeh has adjunct professor positions with the University of Tasmania and Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is a recognized researcher in the field of risk and safety engineering.
Dr Xuhui Fan is a lecturer in Artificial Intelligence in the School of Computing. He has more than 10 years of experience working in machine learning and artificial intelligence. His current research focus is Generative AI and AI with multi-modalities.
Yimeng is a Lecturer in Computing. She is passionate about applying her research findings to solve real-world problems such as smart cities, healthcare, law and finance.
Ningning is a Lecturer in IoT & Networking in the School of Computing. She is interested in Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) , Low-Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs), edge computing, wireless networking, security and privacy.
Young is a researcher and a senior lecturer in School of Computing. He has expertise and extensive experience in distributed systems research evidenced by his work on efficient algorithms and systems for scheduling and resource management in parallel and distributed computing systems, such as multi-processor computer clusters and cloud data centres.
Benoit is a professor and research lead in statistics. His research has involved tight coupling between applied statistics and statistical theory.
Dr Guanfeng Liu is currently a Senior Lecturer (A/Prof. in North American) in the School of Computing. His research interests include graph databases, trust computing, and social computing.
Bernard was selected as the INRIA-Hitachi Chair in 2003 and is Director of the Centre for Advanced Computing Algorithms and Cryptography (ACAC).
Diego Molla-Aliod is a senior lecturer in the School of Computing. He is a founder and current executive member of the Australasian Language Technology Association.
Samuel is a professor of Statistics, Head of the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and a Fellow of the American Statistical Association.
Usman is a lecturer at the School of Computing. He is interested in natural language processing, multimodal content analysis, social computing, and AI for social good. His focus areas include language modelling, cyber informatics, online opinion and sarcasm mining, responsible code-mixed & low-resource language processing, and health/medical informatics.
Mehmet Orgun is a professor in the School of Computing. He has supervised 36 completed PhD students, 8 completed Masters students as both principal and associate supervisor.
Dr Yuankai Qi is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence (AI). He joined the School of Computing in December 2023. Before this, he worked at The University of Adelaide as a research fellow for five years. He received the honor Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS) ECR Award Honourable Mention 2023, and CAAI Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations, China.
Michael is Head of the School of Computing. He applies his research to solve re-world challenges such as ageing, cyber security, misinformation and supply chain management.
Georgy Sofronov received the PhD degree in Statistics from Moscow State University in 2002. He has held academic positions at universities in Russia and Australia including the University of Queensland and the University of Wollongong.
Dr Yanqiu (Autumn) Wu is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the School of Computing. Her research interests include Markov Decision Processes, off-policy and off-line Deep Reinforcement Learning and Quantum Machine Learning with a focus on Quantum Adversarial Machine Learning.
Qiongkai serves as a Lecturer in the School of Computing, engaging in an interdisciplinary domain that spans Privacy & Security, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Data Analysis.
Dr Shan (Emma) Xue is a Lecturer in Computing. She joined the School of Computing in January 2023. Dr Xue received her PhD in Software Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney in 2019, and her PhD in Information Management and Information System from Shanghai University in 2018.
Suk is a postdoc and in a joint position at the Australian Astronomical Optics Data Central.
Yunwei is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. She completed her PhD at the University of Sydney with her thesis titled "Statistical methods for complex multi-modality kidney disease data".
