Indigenous graduate research scholarships in law
This PhD bundle scholarships will provide the opportunity for Indigenous candidates to complete both a Master of Research degree (MRes Year 2) and a PhD in Macquarie Law School.
This scholarship has been designed to support the research training and doctoral studies of up to two Indigenous law candidates.

About the scholarship
These scholarships are supported by the Accelerating development of the Aboriginal workforce in legal services project, which is a collaboration between:
- Macquarie University
- TAFE NSW
- Legal Aid NSW.
Availability
The scholarships are available to Indigenous candidates eligible to undertake a four-year MRes Year 2 + PhD program.
Components
Each scholarship comprises:
- a tuition fee offset
- a living allowance stipend.
The value of each stipend scholarship is $38,500 per annum (full-time, indexed) for four years.
