In this project, we aim to research, develop and deliver:

  • novel IoT platforms and solutions that will allow for massive connectivity of sensors, intelligent processing of data
  • AIoT infrastructure support to optimise city functions and drive economic growth while improving quality of life for its citizens.

The aims of this project are to:

  • develop scalable IoT platforms for massive connectivity of sensors and devices with advanced AI support
  • develop cross-layer deep learning and data science technologies for efficient privacy-preserving data processing and analytics at the edge/cloud
  • provide AIoT infrastructure support and build intelligent applications and services for smart cities/buildings.

Availability

This scholarship is available to eligible candidates to undertake a direct entry three-year PhD program.

There are eight positions available.

Components

The scholarship comprises:

  • a tuition fee offset
  • a living allowance stipend.

The value of the stipend scholarship is $41,650 (indexed 2% from 1 July each year) per annum, funded by CSIRO.

In addition, we provide a training allowance of $15,000 and a travel allowance of $5000 for each student.
