Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) and Engagement and Impact (EI) assessments are Australia’s national research assessment exercises.
They aim to evaluate the quality of research, engagement with end users of research, and the impact of research beyond academia across research disciplines in Australian universities. Together, ERA and EI offer a comprehensive suite of indicators for assessing university research in Australia.
