The Experimental Economics Laboratory, launched in 2015, has increased our capacity to combine applied theory with laboratory experiments.
Academic researchers in the Department of Economics work across a diverse range of areas and publish in the leading journals of the discipline. They work with researchers from top universities around the world and frequently collaborate with industry and government to affect meaningful social change and policy reform.
The department’s commitment to impactful research is also evident with recent multi-year partnerships established with the e61 Institute and Commonwealth Bank (the Commbank Diaries Project).
