EMOTIV’s technology is commonly used to enhance the abilities of paralysed or physically impaired users. Uses include mental typing and command systems for home computer use and environmental control, steering a wheelchair, making music and even driving a race car using only the power of the mind.

Tech entrepreneurs Tan Le (CEO) and Dr Geoff Mackellar (CTO) founded EMOTIV in 2011 and intended the technology and interface to span an amazing variety of potential industries and applications, including:
