A world-class educational and research facility
Macquarie Business School’s Finance Decision Lab is an immersive experience that combines leading financial and business analytics with real market data to demonstrate the impact of financial decisions.
The Finance Decision Lab is a collaborative space where real-time financial data and analytics, global business intelligence and your analytical contribution meet.
The 36-seat lab is a multi-use environment for learning and teaching, research and industry engagement and gives you a close look at how markets operate and a hands-on experience of financial decision-making.
This industry-standard environment provides students with a greater understanding of financial markets, their rules and regulations. Students and academics can use this to gain practical experience in a parallel setting and see the impact of their decisions in a global context.
Partners
The Finance Decision Lab has partnered with Factset and Refinitiv (formerly known as Thomson Reuters), two of the world’s leading sources of financial data and business intelligence, to provide a financial decision-making environment for students and academics.
The partnership provides access to live data that includes stock prices, industry reports, current information on financial markets, financial institutions and other corporations, to simulate financial markets around the world.
The data and intelligence provided by Factset and Refinitiv are used to undertake advanced research and educational programs, including executive educational projects.
