The new method produced a database of over 100,000 top academics across multiple fields worldwide. This database includes the top 2 percent of academics across the world from different fields on the basis of standardised citation indications. These include information on the number of citations, H -Index, co-authorship and a composite indicator. The data all come from Elsevier’s proprietary Scopus database.
