From the economics behind the demand for Tay Tay tickets to ethics in the workplace, see where Macquarie Business School has been making headlines.

Dr Paul Crosby, Department of Economics, contributed an article to The Conversation that outlined the economics behind the demand for Taylor Swift tickets, including pricing strategy and the impact of scalpers. This also appeared in the Australian Herald, Sydney Sun, ABC Online and international media.

Professor Eric Knight, Executive Dean of Macquarie Business School, contributed an article to The Australian, which explored some creative options the government can consider to maximise Australia’s international research reputation.

Professor Hanlin Shang’s research on Australia’s pension age, Department of Actuarial Studies and Business Analytics and the DataX Research Centre, was featured on 3AW radio, The Morning Show on Channel 7, The Regional Independent (print version), New York Post, MSN Australia, The Daily Telegraph (print version) and 720 ABC Perth radio. Emeritus Professor James Guthrie, Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance, was featured in The Guardian and discussed the scrutiny on PwC’s Australian business and potentially its global operations.
