The Macquarie Business School was mentioned in India Education Daily’s coverage of the Mandala Report. The Mandala Report ranked the performance of the universities in or near the Sydney basin as well as Group of Eight (Go8) universities using a large, longitudinal sample of publicly available online professional profile data. The report reveals that when it comes to real-world job outcomes, Macquarie Business School performs very well, as did many other non-sandstone universities. Importantly, it shows that a data-driven approach, focusing on actual behaviour and outcomes, can provide a better picture of our higher education landscape.
The Macquarie Business School was mentioned on Swift Telecast in an article that discussed the four-day work week, following the ACT government’s consideration of a public servant shake-up. The article referred to Medibank’s four-day working week trial for its employees, the results of which will be measured by the Macquarie Business School’s Health and Wellbeing Research Unit.
Professor Deborah Schofield, GenIMPACT, was featured on India Education Daily and commented on the Medicare support for the diagnosis of mitochondrial disease – a major victory for suspected patients and their families, which was aided by the joint work of GenIMPACT and their collaborators.
