Dr Farida Akhtar, Department of Actuarial Studies and Business Analytics, discussed investor’s decision to sell winners and hold losers in The Australian Financial Review.

Associate Professor Mauricio Marrone, Department of Actuarial Studies and Business Analytics, and Dr Rohan Best, Department of Economics, was featured in India Education Diary and outlined their research on rooftop solar power equity. This was based on their co-authored article that originally appeared in The Conversation last month.
Professor Debbie Haski-Leventhal, Department of Management, was among a number of experts to provide insight into the relationship between passion and purpose in Forbes.
Dr Lurion De Mello, Department of Applied Finance, was featured on 3AW 693 News Talk and commented on suggestions that service stations are price gouging. De Mello also helped explain the high diesel prices.
Professor Nick Parr, Department of Management, was featured in CNN International, The Age (print), The Sydney Morning Herald (print), Republic World, Newshub, NDTV.com and discussed the news that Melbourne's population has surpassed Sydney's population based on the revised definition of the significant urban area of Melbourne. This was also featured on 702 ABC Sydney Radio and 2GB.

MBA News Australia reported on the CEO Magazine Online MBA Rankings. Macquarie Business School ranked 17th globally and 3rd in Australia.
