Saty. 1. Novr. Mrs. M. & Mrs. Riley (who came to us yesterday on a visit from Sydney) went to Breakfast at Liverpool – but returned immediately afterwards. Lt. Govr. Erskine, Capt. Morrissett, Capt. Gill & Secry. Campbell came up this day from Sydney to visit us. —
Sunday 2. Novr. Mrs. M. was so ill all this day as to be forced to keep her Bed. —
Monday 3d. Novr. !!! I marked out the Scite [sic] of the new Barracks on the rising Ground to the Southward of Macquarie Street – & about the Center of said Street – along with Mr. Meehan & Lt. Watts! It rained all the afternoon of this Day very heavy. —
