I visited Parramatta to inspect the improvements going on there this morning, and to examine the Govt. Stand of Horses. — Breakfasted there, and returned at 4. P.M. to Sydney. —

Friday 12th. Augt.
The Anniversary of the Birth Day of the Prince Regent was kept in the usual manner; the Principal Civil & Military Officers of the Colony (34 in number) having dined at Govt. House – and Mrs. M. having entertained the principal Ladies in the Evening at a Musical Party and Supper! —
