The Ship Isabella, wt. my Dispatches, and having Lt. Lundin Capt. & Mrs. Durie, Capt. Brooks & Sir H.B. Hayes as Passengers on board, sailed this Day for England! —
Thursday 10th. Decr. 1812. —
At Noon this day Set out by Water for Parramatta & Windsor, accompanied by Col: Mrs. & Miss Davey and Capt. Locker, on a Tour to see the interior of the Country, and the present State of the Crops after the recent tempestuous weather. —
Friday 18th. Decr. —
Returned to Sydney this morning to Breakfast, after visiting the principal Settlements of the interior; in which I was happy to find an abundant Harvest, and only a trifling damage done to the Crops by the late Rains and boisterous Weather. —
N.B. We took possession of and slept for the first time in our new Bed-Room this Night – of Friday 18th. Decr. 1812! —
