The General Elliot, East Indiaman, Capt. Drummond, sailed for England. — several Passengers went on her home; – the General Elliot touches on the Malabar Coast to take in a cargo of Pepper. —

I wrote of this date to my Friend Mr. Hector Maclean Surgeon of the Middlesex to go Per the Genl. Elliott. — I wrote of the same date to Lt. Abercromby aid–de–camp to Genl. Abercromby, by a Dispatch for the Malabar Coast. —
March 10.
Sunday. I Dined and spent the Day with a pleasant Party of Ladies and Gentlemen at Mr. Seaton's. —
